Principal Procurement Specialist; Onsite

Position:
Supply Chain Specialist at Collins Aerospace, Haltom City, TX. Role is onsite and requires U.S. citizenship. This is a full‑time position with a salary range of $86,800 to $165,200.

• Ensure quality and compliance, manage budgets and contracts, and optimize costs to enhance efficiency and meet operational needs.
• Carry out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFQs, supplier relationships and cost accountability for the life cycle of the programs/products.
• Manage all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity.
• Prepare purchase orders and negotiate prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.
• Monitor delivery assurance to identify shortages early, expediting and managing escalated situations, engaging suppliers to resolve problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
• Participate in solutions for issues such as sub‑process suppliers, quality and technical assistance and identifying root causes that impact on‑time delivery and quality.
• Analyze and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance to contractual obligations.
• Communicate and report on information about order status, changes, or cancellations, acting as liaison between Supply Chain and other Interior Products functional teams such as Quality, Engineering, Planning and Operations.
• Manage small projects or processes.
• Work autonomously with limited oversight from management.
• Coach and review the work of lower‑level professionals.
• Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
• Travel up to 20%.

• University degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum of 3 years of experience.
• 3 or more years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
• 2 or more years of experience managing Purchase Orders.

• Military purchasing experience.
• SAP experience.
• Time management skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, and self‑starter.
