The Shipping Supervisor at Southwest Accessory Group is responsible for leading the daily operations of the shipping department, ensuring efficient workflow, order accuracy, team performance, and compliance with all standard operating procedures. This leadership position is key in executing outbound logistics strategies, managing team performance and collaborating with cross‑functional departments to meet customer and vendor operational expectations
What you'll do- Supervise the execution of all outbound orders including label generation, staging, auditing and loading
- Manage a team of Shipping leads and associates setting daily goals and monitoring performance
- Ensure all Shipping documentation, BOL’s and carrier compliance requirements are met
- Monitor KPI’s such as mis-ship rates, dock-to-ship time and route efficiency
- Conduct daily audits of outbound freight and documentation to ensure shipment accuracy
- Oversee training and development of shipping personnel and lead team meetings
- Communicate regularly with inventory, receiving, production and transportation teams
- Monitor and ensure all safety procedures are being complied with
- Partner with the DC Manager to implement process improvements and SOP compliance
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years receiving experience, 2+ years in lead role
- WMS experience (Net Suite preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Able to lift 75 lbs
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Operate equipment (IE: sit‑down forklift, stand‑up forklift, cherry picker, deep reach truck)
Standing, Walking, Reaching/Bending, Endurance, Balancing/Mobility, Manual Dexterity, Exposure to varying conditions, Repetitive Motion, Lifting to 50 lbs. consistently, safety equipment, loud noises: 8-hour work shift
