Job Details
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. This position starts at $20.75/hour with overtime required. Hours are from 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM. Position is responsible for operating production machine equipment such as Blenders, Mixers, and other equipment as assigned.
Responsibilities- Interpret daily production schedule
- Operate assigned production equipment per product specifications
- Determine equipment adjustments and material requirements
- Compile and record production data and reports on volume of production
- Prepare equipment for production and test runs
- Perform troubleshooting and preventing maintenance
- Operate and observe equipment operation to detect work piece defects or equipment malfunction, and measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy
- Ensure work area is clean at all times
- Record keeping and attention to detail
- Ensure work area is clean at all time
- Follow department standards
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Requirements- 3-Month Operator experience must be listed in job history
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds repeatedly during shift
- Some areas must require repetitive lifting up to 75 pounds during Shift
- Must stand on hard concrete floors for up to 10 hours per day
- Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from 40-75 degrees on a routine basis
- Must work in wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas.
- Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, and pinching, climbing stairs and/or ladders
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment
- Wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas
- Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification.
- Knowledge of basic food processing compliance, FDA, USDA, and EPA is preferred.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends and other duties as assigned by Management
