Maintenance Technician
The maintenance technician is essential to sustaining smooth, efficient production operations by ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues, conducting routine inspections of machinery and equipment, assisting with the installation of new equipment, adhering to all safety protocols, identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with production personnel, and supporting manufacturing teams with advanced technical knowledge.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, vocational school or junior technical college training in applicable technical areas, minimum of 5 years related work experience, ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters, proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, strong understanding of hydraulic pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems common with industrial machines, excellent problem solving and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
