Highway Maintenance Technician​/CDL A

Job description:

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklifts
• Load and unload materials or equipment onto trucks.
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
• Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role (Manual Experience a plus)
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for truck driving
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
