Position Description

Video/CDLdrivers

• Pay: $1,200 or more per week, averaging $29.00 per hour
• Hours:
  
  40+ per week, Monday–Friday; weekends during peak season
• Schedule starts between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Paid training provided

• Delivery destinations: TX, LA, AR, OK
• Route type:
  Local Home Daily
• Vehicle:
  Day Cab tractor with 53’ dry van trailer
• Equipment:
  Pallet jack and lift gate included
• Freight type:
  Touch‑Retail goods

• Minimum age 21 years
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Verify Class A experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within last 3 years, OR
  • 2 years experience within last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years experience within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load, unload freight, or assist with loading/unloading as required by the customer
• Perform other job duties as assigned
