Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for staging, decommissioning, and inventory tracking for productions. They carry out daily activities to maintain effective inventory management and optimal inventory levels, procedures, and accurate databases. They work collaboratively with key business partners to ensure identified challenges are addressed timely. Interacting with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Engineering to resolve identified errors in data, practice, or policy while meeting business requirements.
Additionally, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for material handling and inventory management in clean rooms and the warehouse.
- Stages and decommissions clean rooms for productions.
- Creates labels and documentation to track material movement.
- Pull stock/materials as needed.
- Properly identify and label product
- Enter all material movement transactions into inventory control system.
- Recommend, develop, and maintain procedures, department quality, apply LEAN principals and present ideas for process improvement.
- Work with the management team to generate custom reports to help analyze critical corporate metrics.
- May assemble material on pallets for customer shipment.
- Notifies purchasing when stock is low or when lot numbers picked and shipped for traceability.
- Store Material in correct location.
- Support production floor by transporting material as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records on materials, batches/lots, and location.
- Fulfill Production order Picklist within IFS.
- Follow all provided control procedures and policies to complete tasks
- Make, Refine, and review Quality documentation related to warehouse procedures
- Cross-train and serve as the primary backup for the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator.
- Other tasks as assigned.

- Safely perform duties following Company quality
- Participate in team building, training, and department
- Additional tasks or improvement programs as may be

- Experience analyzing and improving inventory management data, information, and processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems (IFS preferred).
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to accurately report and forecast metrics.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience working in inventory control.
- Experience in regulated industry or medical manufacturing industry preferred.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is required.
- Must be able to obtain IATA certification through the company once hired.
- Familiarity with FDA and ISO 13485 regulations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, walk, use hands, see, and hear. Carrying, pushing, pulling, and lifting of up to 50 pounds is occasionally required. Processing transactions at a computer is also required.
