Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will safely fabricate & assemble metal components using various welding techniques while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities- Perform MIG & TIG welding as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Operate welding equipment, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
- Assist with other shop or production duties as needed.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous 2-3 years of welding or fabrication experience is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, and safety gear.
- Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) are a plus.
- Forklift experience.
- Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, or structural steel fabrication.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Work (4) 9 hour days and half days on Friday.
