Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations. This position is ideal for an organized accounting professional who enjoys working in a hands-on role and can manage multiple financial tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping functions, accounts payable and receivable activities, reconciliations, and assisting with general accounting processes.

Based on similar bookkeeper and accounting support roles in your organization’s records.

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance
• Process accounts payable, including invoice entry, coding, and payment processing
• Generate customer invoices and apply incoming cash receipts
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on past-due accounts
• Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies
• Prepare financial reports and support management with ad hoc reporting needs
• Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies
• Assist with payroll administration and other accounting-related duties as needed

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Quick Books experience preferred
• Experience in a small business or multi-functional accounting environment is a plus

• Part-Time: 20-25 hours per week
