Salary: $65,000-$80,000 depending on experience (not specified — insert if available)
Full-time onsite in New Haven County

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and support monthly close activities
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to AR, AP, payroll, and other transactions
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation for account reconciliations
• Monitor daily cash activity, bank balances, and AP aging
• Assist with annual audits, funder reporting, and Form 1099 filing
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and Agency financial policies

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 2–7 years of accounting experience preferred; nonprofit experience highly desirable
• CPA or other relevant certification preferred
• Experience with general ledger systems (Sage preferred) and strong Excel proficiency
