• Schedule projects in logical steps and budget time to meet deadlines.
• Confer with job leadership to resolve work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
• Prepare and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with job leadership.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to leadership.
• Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with projects.
• Take actions to address delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate methods.

• Experienced with analyzing and adjusting construction schedules/Gantt charts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Knowledgeable about materials, methods, and equipment used in excavation and construction of highways, roads, infrastructure, concrete foundations, etc.
• Understanding of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, coordination of people and resources.
• Capable of monitoring and assessing performance to make improvements or take corrective actions.
• Willingness to lead, take charge, offer opinions and direction, and take on responsibilities and challenges.
