Position: Inspector – Bridge or Paving CTDOT NETTCP - ALL OVER CT

Inspectors – CTDOT Road & Bridge Projects

Our award-winning client, a nationally recognized leader in transportation and infrastructure solutions, is actively hiring experienced Inspectors to support Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) paving and infrastructure projects. These roles are critical in ensuring compliance, safety, and quality across major DOT initiatives, including paving operations and bridge inspection programs.

Open Position:
Inspectors – Paving Work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee paving and construction inspection activities on active CTDOT roadway and bridge projects.
  • Ensure all work complies with CTDOT standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Manage field inspection teams, coordinate with contractors and DOT personnel, and maintain detailed daily records.
  • Conduct quality control reviews and prepare comprehensive inspection documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement in construction practices, safety, and project delivery.
Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Minimum Experience:

    3 to 5 to 10+ years of construction inspection experience.

  • CTDOT

    Experience:

    Required — must have a proven track record working on CTDOT projects.

  • Preferred

    Certifications:

    • PE (Professional Engineer), or FE (Fundamentals of Engineering), or EIT or NICET Level IV.

    • NETTCP Paving Certification and ATTSA (Traffic Control Certification) strongly preferred.

  • Technical

    Skills:

    • Proficiency in construction documentation, daily reporting, and compliance verification.

    • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage field personnel effectively.

    • Thorough understanding of roadway paving, bridge construction, and inspection procedures.
