The School of Computing and Engineering at Quinnipiac University seeks highly qualified applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching for part-time faculty openings in the MS Informatics program for the Fall 2025 semester and beyond. The school is specifically looking to staff courses within the Health Informatics track and is looking to develop and maintain a pool of candidates as this program grows.

The current fall semester openings are for day or early evening on-ground sections (some flexibility regarding offering time and modality is possible) for INF 607 Introduction to Health Informatics. We are also interested in building a pool of part-time faculty who could support INF 622 Controlled Medical Terminology and/or INF 680 Foundations of Epidemiology & Public Health in future semesters.
- Covering up to 9 credits of courses per semester (12 credits may be possible under certain circumstances).
- Develop new course material.
- Presenting material to students in an engaging interactive environment.
- Assessing student performance as appropriate throughout the semester.
- Holding regular office hours (generally 1 hour a week per 3 credits taught).

Education Requirements- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Informatics, Health Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, although consideration will be given to excellent candidates who possess practical experience or professional licensure.
- While prior teaching experience is preferred, we also welcome applicants interested in adding teaching experience to their portfolio.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
