Join Quinnipiac University’s growing Honors Program as an Honors Program Operations Specialist. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a key partner in supporting the academic success and educational experience of high‑achieving students.
Responsibilities- Manage student degree tracks, working directly with students and the Honors Program directors to increase the program’s contribution to student success.
- Provide yearly reports, track student degree progress and retention, create surveys, and analyze data.
- Advising and mentoring Honors students on class schedules, progress, and graduation requirements.
- Communicate and coordinate with academic advising across academic units, implementing mentoring programs to meet individualized academic needs of Honors students.
- Promote pathways that broaden access to honors opportunities for academically talented students from diverse backgrounds.
- Cultivate relationships with campus partners, alumni, donors, employers, and community organizations to expand opportunities for students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred; professional qualification highly desired.
- 3+ years of experience administering and organizing curricular programming.
- Commitment to student success and evidence of effective mentoring/advising undergraduate students.
- Passion for working with high‑achieving students and commitment to access and exemplary program development.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Experience analyzing data and generating accurate, confidential reports.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
