Overview

Quinnipiac University's School of Nursing invites applications for part-time faculty to provide clinical supervision for undergraduate students for the Fall 2026 semester. Opportunities exist primarily at long‑term care facilities. As a part‑time faculty member, this position requires one day per week clinical commitment for a 15‑week semester. Both weekend and weekday shifts are available. Teaching opportunities for more than one day per week are also available within the undergraduate nursing program.

Responsibilities
  • Educating and supervising undergraduate students in the clinical setting
  • Working with course coordinators to supervise pre‑licensure students in achieving course outcomes
  • Evaluating student clinical performance and written work
Education Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing
  • Unencumbered RN or APRN license in Connecticut
  • Current or recent clinical practice
Qualifications
  • Currently practicing in a clinical setting or educational environment
  • Experience with teaching students in clinical nursing desired
  • Ability to demonstrate effective teaching in the clinical setting
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds
