Part-Time Faculty Position
The Department of Chemistry and Physical Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences of Quinnipiac University invites applications for part-time faculty to teach entry level on-ground lab courses in general Chemistry for academic year . Openings are in day-time sections teaching the following courses:
General Chemistry I Lab (CHE
110L) and General Chemistry II Lab (CHE
111L).
Responsibilities:
Openings are in day-time sections teaching the following courses:
General Chemistry I Lab (CHE
110L) and General Chemistry II Lab (CHE
111L). Post assignments and assessments and manage grades through Blackboard.
Education Requirements:
A minimum of an MS degree in Chemistry or a related field is required.
Qualifications:
Relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Commitment to excellence in teaching. Experience in the use of instructional technologies, especially Blackboard. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
