Graduate Assistant

• Facilitate one to two Honors Signature Experience courses per semester
• Hold meetings, take attendance, communicate with students over email, and lead discussions throughout the semester (usually scheduled on either Wednesday or Thursday evenings)
• Attend on‑campus or virtual events (occasionally scheduled on the weekends)
• Help organize other UHP events throughout the year as needed, including the senior capstone conference
• Assist with the Honors Program first‑year orientation in August

• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Feel comfortable facilitating and initiating discussions with groups of 20 undergraduate students
• Problem‑solve if technical or scheduling conflicts arise

Estimated 10 hrs/wk
