This contract opportunity is perfect for a licensed School Psychologist looking to work with elementary and secondary students for the 2025–2026 academic year. The role runs from August 25, 2025, through June 11, 2026, with consistent weekday hours that allow for a balanced schedule.

You’ll provide direct support to students and collaborate closely with dedicated educators. A typical day involves evaluations, re-evaluations, counseling, report writing, and active participation with PPT teams. Your expertise will help create a supportive, inclusive space for students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications:
  • Valid CT 070 School Psychologist License required
  • Experience working with elementary and/or secondary students strongly preferred
  • Skilled in conducting psycho educational evaluations and preparing corresponding reports
  • Confident counseling students and providing crisis intervention when needed
  • Collaborative and organized, able to support the PPT team effectively
  • Strong communication skills—verbal and written—with students, families, and staff
  • Committed to maintaining ethical standards and upholding confidentiality
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations according to school protocols
  • Write clear, comprehensive reports for student assessments
  • Deliver both individual and group counseling for students
  • Actively participate in PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
  • Provide direct and ongoing support to students in need
  • Serve as a resource for teachers, staff, and families regarding student concerns
  • Help implement interventions and strategies that foster student success

You’ll appreciate a predictable weekday schedule—Monday through Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week—in a school community that values your expertise.

Compensation for this position ranges from $43.93 to $63.93. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
