Associate Director of Student Engagement

Overview:

Quinnipiac University invites applications for an Associate Director of Student Engagement to help shape a vibrant and inclusive campus community through leadership development, student organizations, and orientation programs.

In this highly visible leadership role, you will inspire student involvement by advising student leaders and organizations,fostering leadership development, and creating opportunities that enhance the overall student experience. You will oversee student organization operations, provide strategic guidance to branches ofthe Student Government Association, and partner with colleagues across the University to develop engaging programs that cultivate belonging, leadership, and community.

As a key member of the Office of Student Engagement leadership team, you will also direct the University's Orientation Leader program, overseeing the recruitment, training, and supervision ofstudent leaders who play a vital role in welcoming new students to Quinnipiac. Working collaboratively with campus partners, you will contribute to initiatives that promote student success, engagement,and institutional pride while helping to advance the University'smission and strategic priorities.

• Provides supervision, evaluation, and coaching to the Assistant Director of Student Engagement, a part-time Finance Assistant, and graduate assistants
• Approves expenditures and manages assigned budgets and related fiscal tasks in accordance with university policy
• Advises branches of the Student Government Association (SGA) in partnership with the Director of Student Engagement, supports individual student media organizations, and serves in a management role for Student Engagement in the Director’s absence
