Student Support Position
Job Goal:
To assist and support the school administration in creating and maintaining a positive school climate.
Job Description:
- Responsible for training and developing protocol for lunch/recess aides and student support staff
- Develops structured activities for students during recess
- Monitors lunch aides in the cafeteria and at recess
- Assists students with academic work and/or problem resolution
- Works collaboratively with building administrator in developing schedules, routines, and coverage for the cafeteria, recess and student support center
- Consults with faculty, administrators and other special services personnel on student behavioral issues
- Maintains records related to the Student Support Center and inputs student discipline information into a computer-based program (SWIS)
- Additional responsibilities as determined by the building administrator
Terms of Employment:
Full-time 10-month Remuneration: $35,000/yr
