Responsibilities- At the direction and with the guidance of CPA Staff, Youth Coaches will:
- Assist high school boys with career readiness activities.
- Conduct pre-employment workshops and/or counseling sessions.
- Conduct outreach in Hamden to identify employment or internship opportunities for youth.
- Model professionalism, reliability, and positive communication
- Other duties as assigned
- Interest in youth development, career readiness, corrections and/or education
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Cultural competency
- REGIONS is a 24/7 facility, and working days and hours are negotiable. Applicants must be 18 yrs. old and will be required to complete site trainings for which hourly compensation will be paid.
