EDU-Aids is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore and understand the natural world through engaging, standards-based science instruction while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with state and district standards.
- Teach subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, Environmental Science, or General Science, depending on grade level.
- Create hands-on laboratory activities and experiments that enhance student learning and engagement.
- Assess student learning through assignments, quizzes, tests, projects, and laboratory reports.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Utilize instructional technology and data-driven practices to improve student outcomes.
- Ensure laboratory safety procedures and protocols are followed at all times.
- Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and school staff.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Prepare lesson plans and maintain accurate student records.
- Valid State Teaching Certification/License in Science.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze student performance data and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Strong knowledge of science content, scientific methods, and instructional strategies.
- Experience conducting laboratory experiments and maintaining a safe learning environment is preferred.
