Senior Civil Site Project Manager / Project Engineer – Connecticut

Competitive DOE Industry: Civil Engineering / Land Development / Transportation Infrastructure An established and growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a client-facing PE Civil Site Project Manager / Project Engineer to support and manage a wide range of civil engineering and site development projects throughout Connecticut. This individual will play a key role in project management, engineering design oversight, client coordination, and preparation/review of engineering plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil/site engineering projects from concept through construction
• Prepare and oversee engineering plans, specifications, permitting, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, consultants, and agencies including CTDOT
• Review and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, utility, parking lot, roadway, and land development plans
• Mentor junior engineering and CAD staff
• Participate in project meetings and public/client presentations
• Ability to review and ultimately seal engineering documents

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field
• PE license strongly preferred EIT candidates close to obtaining PE may be considered
• 8+ years of civil/site engineering experience preferred
• Strong understanding of engineering plans/specifications and construction documents
• Experience with land development, roadway, parking lot, or municipal site projects
• Client-facing communication and project management abilities
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred but not needed at all
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and drafting teams
