Lab Vendor operates a secure, fully cGMP-compliant biobanking and biorepository facility designed for both short- and long-term storage of biological materials and chemicals. Temperature-controlled environments ranging from ambient conditions to
-196°C ensure sample integrity, stability, and regulatory compliance across every stage of storage.

In addition to biostorage services, Lab Vendor sells and rents laboratory cold storage equipment, including cryogenic storage systems, ultra-low temperature freezers, and laboratory refrigerators, supporting laboratories that require reliable storage solutions.

Lab Vendor partners with life science organizations to safeguard critical materials, optimize storage strategies, and maintain continuity across research, clinical, and pharmaceutical operations.

Overview

Are you a client-focused sales professional with knowledge of laboratory operations and a commitment to helping laboratories protect samples and implement effective storage solutions?

We are expanding our sales development team and seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to generate new business and acquire clients nationwide for our state-of-the-art biorepository services. This role focuses on short- and long-term biological sample storage, including refrigerated, ultra-low, and cryogenic storage.

This is an opportunity to own a territory, build new relationships across the scientific community, and drive growth by introducing clients to biorepository solutions that improve laboratory efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Nationwide Lead Generation

  • Identify new business opportunities across biotech, pharmaceutical, academic, and clinical research organizations
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through research and networking

Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Understand client sample storage requirements and recommend appropriate storage solutions, including refrigerated, ultra-low, or cryogenic storage
  • Serve as the first point of contact, representing the organization’s technical expertise and service quality

Positioning and Product Knowledge

  • Clearly communicate how our biorepository processes maintain sample integrity
  • Tailor presentations and discussions to client-specific requirements
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of biorepository services, storage options, temperature ranges, regulatory compliance, and quality standards
Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate who understands laboratory or technical environments and can confidently engage professionals in scientific, technical, or business roles.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant experience in scientific or business fields will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 5+ years of experience in laboratory services, scientific sales, or business development
  • Proven track record of acquiring new customers, generating leads, and contributing to sales growth
  • Experience engaging with biotech, pharmaceutical, clinical, or research laboratories
  • Willingness to travel within territory
