OverviewAre you an experienced life science sales professional who understands laboratory environments and thrives in consultative, technical sales?
We are expanding our national sales team and seeking a driven Sales Representative to lead growth in laboratory cold storage solutions across the United States. This role focuses on cryogenic storage systems, ultra-low temperature freezers, laboratory refrigerators, and long-term sample preservation equipment serving biotech, pharmaceutical, clinical, and research laboratories.
This is an opportunity to own a national territory, develop new accounts across the life science community, and drive sales of laboratory cold storage equipment that enhances laboratory performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities Drive Strategic Growth- Develop and execute a national territory growth plan
- Identify and close new opportunities within biotech, pharma, academic research, and clinical labs
- Expand revenue through both capital equipment and service contracts
- Build a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry engagement
- Assess laboratory workflows, sample types, storage volumes, and compliance requirements
- Position cryogenic systems, ULT freezers, and laboratory refrigeration based on performance, capacity, and risk mitigation needs
- Provide technical product expertise to laboratory managers, principal investigators, and facilities teams
- Support customers through equipment selection, specification, and implementation
- Develop relationships with laboratory directors, research scientists, facilities managers, and procurement teams
- Support customers post-installation to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Position preventative maintenance and repair services to maximize equipment performance and lifecycle
We are seeking a candidate who understands the laboratory environment and can confidently engage life science professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant experience in scientific or business fields will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience selling scientific or laboratory equipment
- Proven success acquiring new accounts and closing sales.
- Experience selling into biotech, pharma, clinical, or research labs
- Willingness to travel within territory.
