HVC Patient Access Rep

Yale New Haven Health -  - Responsibilities:
Answer a high volume of incoming calls delivering quality customer service;
Schedule patient appointments, procedures, and/or exams within the YNHHS aligned clinician enterprise and resolve scheduling conflicts;
Greet callers professionally and provide information about appointment preparation and insurance referrals or authorizations as needed;
Screen, verify, and obtain patient information to ensure accuracy when scheduling appointments;
Reschedule or cancel appointments as requested and notify/confirm changes;
Utilize scheduling software to schedule multiple appointments across modalities within EMR systems;
Support other duties as assigned
