Registered Dietitian
Located near New Haven, CT
Salary:
Up To $76K Per Year based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities of the Registered Dietitian:
- Direct, supervise and coordinate all the functions and activities related to clinical nutritional care.
- Develop, review and revise, and implement policies and procedures to assure compliance with JCAHO standards, and federal and state regulations, laws, and guidelines.
- Develop the monthly Performance Improvement Clinical Nutrition Report.
- Develop and implement plans to facilitate the provision of high quality and appropriate nutrition care to residents.
- Participate or lead interdisciplinary teams, committees, and FS managers meetings.
Requirements of the Registered Dietitian:
- Must be a Registered Dietitian/ Registered Dietitian Eligible
- Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Must have nursing home experience
- Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines
- Computer literacy and proficiency with EMR software and computer-based menu systems
