Seeking a warm, dependable companion for my 87‑year‑old mother with dementia who lives independently ’re looking for someone who feels more like a friend than a caregiver. The schedule is 3–4 hours per visit, several days per week (flexible). Start September. Pay: $25–35 per hour DOE.
Responsibilities- Companionship and conversation
- Light meal prep
- Encouraging hydration
- Short walks
- Playing cards
- Watching TV
- Helping with gardening
- Experience with seniors or dementia is a plus
- Must possess kindness and patience
- Must have a genuine desire to build meaningful connections
