Medical Secretary

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet patients courteously
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals
• Manage check-out processes and facilitate payments from patients
• Document interactions in patient charts and across systems

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's preferred
• 0 years of experience required in medical secretary role
• 2 years preferred medical secretary experience
• Ability to type 45-60 words per minute
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Epic and medical terminology preferred

Demonstrates proficiency in patient interaction, appointment scheduling, and payment processing while maintaining accurate documentation in patient charts. Strong communication skills and familiarity with medical terminology and systems like Epic are essential.
