Become Part of a Center Team

As a center-based Radiologic Technologist, you’ll work closely with the same providers and clinical support team each day, building strong relationships and becoming an integral part of the patient experience.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy collaboration, value continuity, and want to make a lasting impact within a dedicated team environment.

Your Role as a Radiologic Technologist Diagnostic Imaging
  • Perform diagnostic X-rays ordered by providers to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis.
  • Review images for quality and completeness.
  • Follow all radiation safety standards and imaging protocols.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology equipment as appropriate.
Clinical Support
  • Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Obtain clinical information and vital signs as needed.
  • Support laboratory and diagnostic testing processes.
  • Assist with specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and other clinical responsibilities within scope and training.
  • Support patient flow and contribute to an efficient clinical environment.
Patient Experience
  • Deliver professional, compassionate care during every patient interaction.
  • Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process.
  • Help create a welcoming environment that reflects the values and standards of Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care.
Team Contribution
  • Collaborate closely with providers, clinical support staff, and operational leaders.
