Drive excellence in eye care! Keplr Vision is looking for a District Operations Manager to become a key leader empowering teams and enhancing the patient experience across our practices in Central Connecticut. In this role, you'll ensure every patient receives the best quality of care while guiding and supervising staff across multiple locations.
Location & Schedule- Our practices are located throughout Central Connecticut — the state is compact, so most locations are an easy drive from one another. Ridgefield, our westernmost practice, sits near the New York border.
- This role requires a minimum of 3 days per week on-site across our practice locations, with the remainder of the week worked virtually.
- Mileage between practice locations is reimbursed at $0.76/mile.
- Relocation assistance is available for candidates relocating to the area.
- Supervise multiple practice locations, driving a best-in-class patient experience by working closely with Practice Managers, Doctor(s), and the Director of Operations.
- Manage multiple non-clinical teams — including Practice Managers, Opticians, Technicians, and Patient Care Coordinators — advising on role-modeling best practices, coaching, and mentorship.
- Partner effectively with the Lead Optometrist to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
- Work closely with practice Optometrists to ensure the highest standard of patient care and workflow efficiency.
- Monitor all aspects of practice operations and the implementation of new initiatives, providing on-the-job training and support to team members using core philosophies.
- Analyze practice financial data and KPI performance, and make recommendations to optimize overall practice profitability.
- Partner with HR to recruit and select high-caliber talent.
- Travel to locations to provide support and drive practice performance.
- Ensure overall compliance related to billing, staff behavior, and HIPAA regulations.
- Perform duties related to product management, inventory management, and cost of goods.
- Evaluate staff on a consistent basis, conduct performance reviews, and deliver team trainings.

- Minimum of 5 years of multi-unit management experience; strong preference for Optometry or Eye Care industry experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation.
- Strong understanding of practice operations, processes, and a high level of business acumen.
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to set, monitor, and achieve productivity goals.
- Ability to problem-solve, exercise sound judgment, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Understanding of optometric business processes and strategic development.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet required deadlines.
