Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Location: South Central and southeastern CT

Schedule: Full-time (5 days per week)

Salary per annum: $150,000 - $200,000

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Neurology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including medication management and non-pharmacologic interventions
• Conduct regular follow‑up visits to monitor progress, adjust plans and provide education and support
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
• Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long‑term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Physician license
• DEA license
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Master’s degree in nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of experience in neurology
• Preferred experience documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.) – training provided
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand, walk, work on feet up to 6–8 hours per day
