Position: Part Time LPN 3pm-11pm

Part Time 24hr 3pm-11pm LPN includes every other weekend

Requirements

Include the following and other duties as assigned.

• Coordinates nursing activities with the activities of other departments when necessary.

• Participates in orientation of new nursing staff.

• Assigns duties to C.N.A.'s as directed.

• Provides individual instruction and in-service programs for C.N.A.'s who are direct reports.

• Participates in monitoring the resident care plan and works toward meeting goals.

• Gives and receives shift reports.

• Acts as first responder for all emergency treatment to residents in community residential area when needed.

• Makes accurate and timely assessments of residents under her/his care and documents as required in the medical record to ensure resident care plan is meeting goals.

• Reports changes in condition of residents to physicians and responsible party documenting same in the medical record and carries out physician orders accurately.

• Properly administers medications and treatments in a timely fashion.

• Transcribes written physician orders according to policy.

• Monitors laboratory studies and reports results to physicians.

• Performs restorative and rehabilitative nursing for residents by teaching self-help and independence in activities of daily living according to the resident care plan.
