Advanced Practitioners – Other Specialties

• Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a College Health position in Hamden, Connecticut
• Open to Nurse Practitioners (APRN, FNP, ANP, AGNP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
• 100% outpatient, college‑based healthcare setting
• Ideal candidate will possess a keen interest in adolescent health
• Primary coverage required on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Additional opportunities for coverage throughout the week and weekends
• Flexibility to work occasional additional shifts based on operational needs is preferred
• No call required
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to other health team members or specialists
• Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician when needed
• Must hold an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or be eligible)
• At least two years of post‑graduate experience as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) required
• Allergy immunotherapy experience preferred but not required
• Phlebotomy/Venipuncture experience preferred but not required
