Our client is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide skilled, compassionate care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and comfortable working collaboratively within a fast-paced inpatient care team. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies per physician orders
- Support patients and families through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, anesthesiologists, and pediatric staff
- Document patient care accurately and timely within the EMR system

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse's
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 2 years of L&D experience in an inpatient hospital setting; will consider 1 year of experience, or candidates 2-3 years removed from L&D who are looking to return
- ASN required; BSN or MSN preferred, and ASN-prepared candidates must obtain a BSN within 2 years of employment
- Active BLS certification
- Active Connecticut RN license or compact license
- Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly in high-acuity situations
