We are seeking a hands‑on Quality Assurance Engineer to support quality initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring quality and industry standards are maintained, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and helping maintain and improve the Quality Management System to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily audits of departmental processes and documentation in accordance with QA procedures
- Support supplier quality activities
, including material rejections, corrective actions, and on‑site audits as needed - Participate in machine validation and qualification activities
- Create, update, and improve process documentation to support quality initiatives
- Lead or support customer complaint investigations
, including root cause analysis and corrective actions - Conduct real‑time inspections of products, processes, and systems; assist with daily quality inspections as required
- Prepare written reports and quality analyses as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives at the facility and corporate level
- Review, monitor, and report on updates to industry, quality, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., quality and OSHA‑related requirements)
- Perform all duties in accordance with company safety rules, policies, and written procedures
- Support additional quality‑related responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
, or equivalent hands‑on experience - Computer‑literate; comfortable with spreadsheets, documentation, and reporting tools
- Familiarity with quality management systems and quality concepts (certification a plus or willingness to pursue)
- Experience with SPC tools or software is a plus
- Ability to interpret and apply customer specifications and quality requirements
- Strong analytical and root‑cause problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail, including visual inspection and color differentiation
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as required
- Reports to senior quality leadership
- Works closely with Quality, Production, and Operations teams
