Position Description
The Direct Support Counselor is responsible for the operation of the residential facility and the implementation of individual programs. The role involves providing support and guidance to residents and ensuring the effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs for each resident.
- Ensure all resident programs are implemented and maintain accurate records.
- Act as a resident advocate.
- Assist in overseeing that Direct Support Counselors’ job responsibilities are being carried out.
This role may involve collaboration with other support staff, including Assistant Residential Supervisors, to support the overall functioning of the residential program.
