Non-CDL Driver Opportunity

Hamilton Connections in Hamden is hiring for a Non-CDL driver. Hiring for 1st shift that may start as early as 3AM.

Responsibilities for Non-CDL Driver:

• Walking around assigned truck before and after route (inspection)
• Loading and unloading product on assigned truck for the route
• Hand delivering orders
• Driving cautiously and following all rules and regulations
• Unloading cases or product using a hand truck and/or pallet jack
• Cross referencing all products with customer invoice
• Noting any discrepancies, if any, and notifying supervisor at the time of delivery
• Unloading all remaining products/pallets upon return
• Cleaning cabin and body of truck after truck is empty
• Fueling up gas tank before parking truck to appropriate area
• Handing driver envelope into office for processing
• Interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner

Qualifications for Non-CDL Driver:

• Valid Connecticut Driver's License
• Driver's Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• 3 years of delivery driving experience
• Physical activity; required to bend down and lift a maximum of 50lbs on a regular basis
• Proficient an electric pallet jack and/or pump jack
• Deliver product to customers with care in respectable and professional manner
• Shifts may start as early as 3:30 a.m. and hours may vary
• Familiarity with the five boroughs of New York City is valued

Details:

• $21-22 plus, depending on experience
• Able to start as early as 3:30AM
