With nearly 30 years of experience in the mining industry, we stand out for our personalized, client-focused approach. Reporting to the General Management and working closely with the customer service and laboratory teams, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic business relationships within the mining and environmental sectors.
You will play a key role in:
Identifying new business opportunities
Growing the client portfolio
Promoting our services to key decision-makers
Main GoalsIncrease sales in Quebec
Develop and expand our presence in Ontario
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement targeted prospecting strategies for Quebec and Ontario
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining and environmental sectors
Build and maintain a network of industry contacts in collaboration with account managers
Collaborate with service and lab teams to create tailored proposals based on client needs
Represent H2
Lab at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking activities
Monitor the sales pipeline and performance metrics regularly
Ensure a smooth handover of new clients to account managers
What We’re Looking For5–10 years of experience in business development within the environmental, mining, or industrial sectors
Strong knowledge of the Quebec and Ontario markets and relevant industry challenges
A well-established network in the mining or environmental sectors
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Strategic thinking, autonomy, and attention to detail
Available for frequent travel in Quebec and Ontario
Proficient in CRM tools
Educational background in science or environmental studies – an asset
