The Role:
This role is critical for ensuring rigorous contract review practices and legal compliance within a regulated, fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of overseeing contract review activities that support the organization’s business, clinical trial, and operational objectives. The candidate should be adaptable, ready to take on tasks with minimal oversight, and able to work efficiently while continuously learning and growing.

Responsibilities:
Drive the review, evaluation, and negotiation of contracts across business, clinical trials, supply chain, manufacturing, and vendor relationships.
Identify risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement within contracts and proactively address potential legal or business concerns.
Ensure all contracts comply with relevant regulations, internal policies, and industry-specific guidelines (including GMP/GLP/GCP where applicable).
Collaborate with Legal, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to facilitate contract approvals and alignment.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of reviewed contracts, amendments, and related correspondence in line with data integrity and confidentiality standards.
Identify and suggest enhancements to contract review workflows, tools, and standard operating procedures (SOPs); develop and update templates for contractual documents.
Communicate contract status, risks, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and leadership.
Coach colleagues on contract review best practices, legal terminology, and critical compliance requirements.
Serve as a point of contact for external counterparties during contract negotiations, clarifications, and resolution of contractual issues.
