The PositionBenefits Operations Specialist – an individual contributor on the Employer‑of‑Record Operations team. The role provides support to employees and clients on Benefits programs across 90+ countries and drives process improvement and automation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide delightful support to employees and clients on benefits, including plans, enrollment, invoicing, and vendor platforms.
- Process and solve tickets and escalations via Zendesk and email.
- Execute data‑related tasks such as preparation, entry, and download.
- Help define and execute standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the Benefits team and other departments to analyze customer needs and deliver solutions.
- Provide analytical, administrative, and technical support for benefits programs.
- Maintain process documentation and identify automation opportunities.
- Research and document best practices in Notion.
- Initiate and scale new process improvements.
- Champion Remote’s values and the Benefits team’s goals internally and externally.
- Experience in HR Operations and Employee Benefits, ideally within US PEO services.
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment using multiple tech tools.
- Remote‑work experience is a plus.
- Interview rounds: with Benefits Operations Manager, Benefits Director, and async offer.
The annual salary range is $35,250 – $89,250 USD
. Remote offers a comprehensive benefits package (see the handbook) and includes a budget for local in‑person social events or co‑working spaces for all employees.
