Harris in Waterdown, Ontario as a Senior Specialist. This role requires a solid foundation in Government procurement and compliance.
As a Senior Contracts Specialist, you will lead complex contractual engagements, working closely with sales, finance, and other key teams on effective contract execution. Your leadership will foster compliance, risk management, and operational excellence in contract negotiations. Candidates should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and prepared to engage with diverse groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on proposals and manage contract negotiations
• Serve as a primary liaison for contract-related issues
• Handle large, complex contracts with precision
• Convey complex contract concepts into clear strategies
• Ensure compliance with all procurement policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or related fields
• Minimum 6 years in contracting, along with 3 years in Government contracts
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM tools
• Ability to obtain NATO secret clearance
