Customer Service Administrator

Taylor Steel Inc. is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Administrator to join our Customer Service team. In this role, you'll provide administrative and operational support across Quality, Production, Sales, and Purchasing while helping ensure our day-to-day operations run efficiently.

• Coordinate quality-related activities, including production rejections, inspections, and non-conforming material.
• Support customer and mill claims alongside the Technical Service Coordinator.
• Manage outside processing orders from quotation through reconciliation and costing.
• Maintain inventory records and process material transfers and production postings.
• Support production scheduling by updating schedules and distributing production documentation.
• Prepare reports, analyze data, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide cross-functional support and backup for other Customer Service functions as needed.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning new software and internal systems.
• 3–5 years of administrative experience in a professional business environment is considered an asset.
• Experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is an asset.
• College or university education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.

• $50000 - $60000 Annual Salary plus company bonuses
