As the Accounting Lead, you will utilize more than four years of professional experience to refine the month-end close for Affirm's financial operations. This role emphasizes collaboration between accounting and diverse teams including Engineering and Financial Systems, ensuring that new products and processes align effectively with existing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve accounting processes
• Develop comprehensive project plans with clear outcomes
• Serve as the point of contact between teams
• Identify and implement enhancements for operational efficiency
• Prepare and review financial documents as needed
Requirements:
• At least 4 years of relevant experience required
• Strong understanding of US GAAP principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential
• SQL proficiency preferred
• Excellent project management capability
