Gowling WLG is seeking a Trust Coordinator to join their Hamilton office. With 3-5 years of experience, you will manage and record trust transactions while ensuring compliance with regulations. Strong interpersonal skills will be essential as you liaise with banks and assist in enhancing trust processes for the Firm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and record trust transactions in financial systems
• Prepare outgoing trust payments via cheque or wire transfer
• Coordinate with partners for trust fund releases
• Analyze and prevent potentially fraudulent requests
• Respond to inquiries regarding trust policies and procedures
Requirements:
• High school diploma; accounting diploma preferred
• 3-5 years in a professional services environment
• Proficient in accounting software and banking procedures
• Strong communication and detail orientation
• Knowledge of Aderant Expert system is a plus
