Overview
Senior Personal Banker – Home Borrowing role at TD Canada Trust. The position focuses on providing sound financial planning advice and home borrowing guidance to enhance customer loyalty and investment outcomes. The incumbent will bring subject matter expertise in real estate secured lending and related TDCT products and services.
Responsibilities- Create a consistent and exceptional customer experience in the branch, with a specialty focus on home borrowing advice and experiences.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Real Estate Secured Lending products, in addition to TDCT products and services.
- Ask thoughtful questions to uncover customer needs, own solutions that align to mandate, and bring in experts for needs outside of capability.
- Improve customer financial confidence through ongoing dialogue and by providing advice.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for customers and colleagues regarding TD products, services, policies, and procedures, including both personal and business banking where applicable.
- Maintain a professional and inviting branch environment, adhering to premises, marketing and regulatory guidelines.
- Engage in proactive customer outreach (via phone, email, etc.) to discuss portfolio updates and opportunities; participate in community outreach as appropriate.
- Maintain knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends to support recommendations.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, reflects customer intentions, and is retained per business policies and procedures.
- Collaborate as a team to promote service quality, innovation, and teamwork; ensure timely communication of issues or points of interest.
- Contribute to business objectives by attracting, acquiring and retaining customers and opportunities to drive growth for TD; focus on market share growth by bringing new business to TD.
- High School diploma and/or;
Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred - 2+ years relevant experience
- Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent
- Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA)

37.5 hours per week - Salary: CAD $70,000 – $84,400
