Job Description
As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you will help clients reach their goals while building and growing your own business within the RBC brand.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain client relationships with strong people and problem‑solving skills.
- Operate as a self‑starter, managing your day and client portfolio independently.
- Provide meaningful financial planning and advice to help clients achieve life goals.
- Leverage RBC’s brand to develop a client base of high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and business owners.
- Create customized portfolios and wealth plans using RBC’s investment and wealth management resources.
- Establish long‑term, multi‑generational relationships with personalized service and advice.
- Maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners (Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance) to support all aspects of client financial lives.
- 4‑6 years of outbound sales experience and comfortable earning 100% commission.
- Completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE) or plan to complete them before starting.
- Passion for financial planning and an interest in portfolio management.
- Strong relationship‑building skills capable of connecting with all types of individuals.
- Experience in a direct marketing or client‑facing role with proven high‑value sales success.
- Completed professional designations such as CFP, CIM, or CFA.
