Investments & Insurance Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance & Investment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with internal team members and advisors to ensure the timely and accurate processing of investment and insurance activities.

You will play a key role in coaching and supporting advisors, helping foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance. The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-focused, and possesses strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to advisors
  • Monitor service requests, prioritize tasks, and manage workflow efficiently
  • Ensure all activities are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with quality standards
  • Resolve escalated service and support issues related to investments, insurance, and procedures
  • Maintain the security of transactions & operations in line with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Head Office, Branch Managers/Directors, advisors, and internal teams
  • Identify and recommend improvements to internal processes to better support advisors
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that supports knowledge sharing and high performance
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in customer service and/or the financial services industry is required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • LLQP and/or MTF license considered a strong asset

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

This is a full time, in person role located in our Hamilton office

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm (EST)
