In this role, you will oversee the preparation and filing of tax slips for Canadian Registered Plans, including strategizing around Non-Qualified Investments and related client notifications. Your attention to detail will drive year-end accuracy, while your problem-solving abilities will enhance operational efficiency in reporting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage preparation of key tax slips for registered plans
• Handle amendments and issue resolutions where necessary
• Conduct data reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy
• Notify clients on Non-Qualified Investments and tax implications
• Collaborate with team members for seamless tax operations
Requirements:
• Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• 2+ years in tax reporting within finance
• Understanding of tax rules and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Excel for reconciling data
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
