Hamilton-Wentworth School Board Budget Development Supervisor

This role reports to the Manager, Budget Services, focusing on financial accountability, budget forecasting, and year-end processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor the annual operating budget

• Prepare and submit reports to the Ministry of Education

• Develop salary and benefit forecasts

• Create financial reports and variance analyses

• Mentor staff involved in budgetary processes

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation

• At least seven years of relevant experience

• Advanced skills in financial analysis and reporting
